The Malý Chmel architectural studio was founded in 2016 during the work on its first built project – the extension of the primary school in Nezamyslice. The cooperation between the three founding partners Miroslav Malý, Zdeněk Chmel and Miroslav Chmel began earlier during their studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology, the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and the Faculty of Arts and Architecture of the Technical University in Liberec. The studio also has the collaboration of Jitka Vančurová, Gabriela Sládečková and Martin Ciglbauer.
