LoCa Studio is an architecture, urbanism, and design firm based in Barcelona and Tenerife, founded by Daniel Lorenzo Almeida and Carlota Casanova Calvo in 2008.
LoCa is an international team with multidisciplinary backgrounds and knowledge in architecture, planning, and design. LoCa deals with diverse scales and projects resulting in heterogeneous solutions, responding to every new challenge’s specificity. A deep technical construction interest drives and feed our design processes and solutions. The diversity of locations and types of works stem LoCa’s plural, eclectic and colorful designs.
Daniel Lorenzo and Carlota Casanova, in collaboration with the 300,000 Km/s studio, have won the 2019 Spanish Urbanism Award for the use plan for Ciutat Vella, Barcelona.
In 2022, The Library project has been selected for the Best Architecture Spain Korea, winning the ADIK 2022 award.
