Lara García
Javier Lara García. Architect from the University of Alcalá (2015) and Official Master in Architectural Rehabilitation from the University of Granada (2017). Specializing in heritage intervention and rehabilitation. In 2016-2017, he carried out a research stay at the School of Arab Studies - CSIC of Granada, whose work obtained the Iberian Prize for Research in Traditional Architecture 2017-2018 for the TFM “Analysis of a Castilian house from the 16th century and its insertion in the Axares neighborhood (Granada)”. Member of ICOMOS since 2019.
In his career, he has collaborated in the Conservation and Protection Service of the Board of Trustees of the Alhambra and Generalife and in multidisciplinary teams in the field of archeology and restoration. In 2017, he began to collaborate on professional and research work with the Granada architect José Manuel López Osorio, with whom he currently shares projects.
Currently, he combines his professional activity as an architect with research work as a doctoral student at the University of Alcalá, focusing on the analysis of historical construction with walls, the characterization of factories, degradation processes and intervention methodologies.
