La Cuarta Piel

La Cuarta Piel is a community of practices founded in Alicante. The association translates and approaches the processes that sustain human life in cities. It does so through situations that materialize the ecological relationships of these complex processes and bring them closer to a human scale.

The association is made up of architects and artists who work with sensitivity towards the needs of nearby ecosystems and from a commitment to generating enjoyable meeting places.
The team is made up of Inés Miño Izquierdo, Íñigo Barrón García, Juan Manuel López Carreño, Javier Gutiérrez Hernández, Mon Cano Galván, Ximo Berenguer Hernandis, Ana Moure Rosende, Andrea Moreno Orts, Carlos Pastor García, César Fuertes Llorens and Beatriz López Herráiz.

Its members have participated in, among others, the Vienna Biennale (2017), Venice Biennale (2018), Quito Architecture Biennale (2020), Krakow Biennale (1st prize, 2017). They have also exhibited at Negre (Las Cigarreras, 2021), designed and produced ephemeral installations for A Cel Obert (2020), Insólit Festival (2019), the Porto Architecture Gallery, HANGAR Lisbon and Medialab-Prado.
