i2G ARCHITECTS. It is a study of architecture in Bilbao constituted, as a professional society, in 2007 by Gorka Apraiz, Gilles Marchal and Iñigo Barberena, architects who come from diverse origins (Euskadi, Belgium and Navarra), trained in different universities (Donostia, Brussels and Pamplona) and in different horizons (North Carolina - USA, Barcelona and Venice) so they accumulate a highly diversified academic background. The coincidence during the previous 7 years of the founding partners in the development of projects of proven importance, within the structure of another architecture studio, constituted the precedent for the constitution of the new infrastructure.
This team is made up of architects with diverse profiles (technical, creative and artistic), whose versatility favors facing all kinds of jobs and new challenges, is complemented by the incorporation of other specialized technicians who provide services that require very concrete and specific knowledge, constituting a multidisciplinary work team with different academic profiles. All this from the training, updating and improvement of processes and results.
The building and urbanization projects, as well as the control and direction of works are carried out in an efficient way and committed to contemporary architecture with a singular, avant-garde / modern design and innovative character, under the principles of a sustainable and passive architecture (efficient), according to a thoughtful and constant reflection on it. This principle entails a gradual evolution in the projects developed, fleeing from professional stagnation. Within the policy of continuous improvement and 3D design developing all projects using BIM technologies.
