Glez
Alejandra Glez is a multidisciplinary artist, born in Havana in 1996. She began to be interested in the world of photography at the age of 16, although later she has been developing in other arts such as performance.
She began her studies at the Active School of Photography in her hometown and continued at the School of Creative Photography until 2016. She has done two photography courses at the San Gerónimo School and the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. Between 2017 and 2018 she was in Madrid on an internship at the studio of photographer José María Mellado. In 2020 she completed online training on Art and Residence of the artist Abel Azcona.
She was a finalist in 2019-2020 for the XIV Arte Laguna Award, with his video art Llanto y Risa. She also received the 2016-2017 Scholarship for a children's photography project from the Norwegian Embassy in Cuba. In 2021, she has winned the IV Foundation Enaire Young Photography Award.
