Díaz-Pinés Mateo
Fernando Díaz-Pinés Mateo was born in Ceuta in 1959, graduated as an architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (1984) where he works on new plant and architectural restoration projects. He will be a teacher at the same school from 1989 to 1991 and from that year to the present at the Higher Technical School of Valladolid. He has also been a teacher at the School of Architecture of the Polo de Mantua of the Milan Polytechnic and in the Doctorate of the Escola Superior Artística de Oporto.
He completed the doctoral thesis "Santa Iglesia Catedral de San Antolín, Palencia. Analysis and history of the architecture of the" Bella Desconocida "where he graduated as a Doctor from the Higher Technical School of Valladolid in 1994.
In addition, he works as a researcher in modern and contemporary architecture, a specialist in the work of architect Steven Holl, where he teaches classes in the Doctoral Program "Modernity and contemporaneity in Architecture". His participation as a painter is famous and remarkable, where he seeks to transmit his artistic abilities in another environment, always very surrounded by architecture and spaces.
