2014
CREA is an architecture studio based in Porto and is part of the Center for Science and Technology of the University of Porto. It was founded by André Camelo and Tânia Alves, in 2014. The current team is made up of: André Camelo, Tonia Fernandes, António Ataíde, Teresa Osório, Joao Alves, Katarzyna Wozniak and Martina Ghilardi. They have developed projects of different scales, balancing between programs such as housing and diversified equipment, with a focus on sustainability and rehabilitation of buildings.

2023, Platinum Award, at the Architecture and Design Awards of the Architecture and Design Collection, with the work Moradia na Maia and Black Box, in the Residential Architecture and Design category.
2019, Dezeen Awards 2019 Longlist, with the work Casa Heróis de África, in the Residential Renaissance category.
2018, 100 best houses of 2018, with the work Casa Heroes of Africa, by Arcadaria.
2017, National Urban Rehabilitation Award, awarded to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Oporto Headquarters, in the Commercial and Services category.
