In 2019 Brigita Bula Architects received National Architecture Award - Golden Pineapple for Salt house in Pavilosta. As a national entrant the project later was nominated for Mies van der Rohe Prize 2020.
In 2012 a holiday house in Kaltene designed by Brigita Bula Architects has been recognized by being awarded the Latvian National Architecture Award. As a national entrant the project later was nominated for Mies van der Rohe Prize 2013.
Prior to founding her own studio in 2013, Brigita Bula was known as a project architect at Arhis design studio, the leading architecture practice in Latvia. She has collaborated with Sutherland Hussey Harris (Scotland), Jan Kaplicky (UK), Neuteling Riedijk Architects (NL) and Ventura Trindade Arquitectos (PT) on different projects and competitions.
