ATELIER 62 is an architectural studio founded by Rodrigo Martínez, Arturo Menduiña, Juan Pérez and Luis Ruiz. They are architects from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Valladolid (ETSAVA). The group was formed in 2018 in Valladolid with the aim of developing an architecture that is the result of reflection, debate and research. Most of the work of these young architects has focused on the development of competitions, obtaining national and international recognition. Their work has been echoed through numerous publications in magazines, books and participation in exhibitions.
Their architecture reflects on the singularity of each context, developing diverse design strategies with the aim of responding rigorously to the compositional and programmatic needs of each situation, through solutions committed to the cultural, social and environmental issues involved in the architectural process.
