Arquitectura y Diseño is a Los Angeles-based studio founded by Roberto Sheinberg, who believes that architecture is a catalyst for change for people, communities, and the planet.
His broad range of design experience spans a variety of housing typologies, from single-family homes and accessory dwelling units to supportive housing for families and homeless individuals, along with institutional projects, work with nonprofits, community-based organizations, and spiritual and educational organizations that address all aspects and facets of life. His passion is shaping a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable world through innovative and collaborative design focused on the needs of our clients and end users, while embracing the need for urban densification and maintaining and restoring the natural environment.
The name, “Arquitectura y Diseño” in Spanish, being a studio born in the city of Los Angeles, reflects the studio’s belief that diversity and inclusion are integral to innovative and responsive design solutions. He also talks about his international background and global thinking, always based on a deep connection with the site and the community.
