Arquitectura SPINETTA. Architecture studio founded in 2022 by Melina Spinetta, based in the city of Rosario, Argentina.
Her work revolves around the gaze, improving the way people live and experience space. SPINETTA Architecture tries to leave a lasting mark, transcending the conventional and building a legacy of design, innovation and quality in each work.
Melina Spinetta. Architect graduated with an honor medal from FAPYD-UNR. She has completed the Postgraduate Degree in Architecture and Technologies at the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires.
From 2003 to the present, she begins to work as an independent professional by opening her studio in the city of Rosario. At the same time, in 2007, she forms the studio "CMS arquitectas" associated with Paula Matiasevich and Diana Chiatello.
At the beginning of 2022, she inaugurates a new studio, “Arquitectura SPINETTA”, whose mission is to leave a lasting mark, transcending the conventional and forging a legacy of design, innovation and quality in each built work, dedicating itself to the development of collective housing, office and commercial premises projects.
The built works have won awards in national (FADEA) and provincial (CAUPSF) competitions, have been published in specialized magazines and digital pages, and have participated in Open House Rosario in several editions. The RZ1248 building has been selected this year for the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP), organized by the “Illinois Institute of Technology” in Chicago.
She has been “Winner” of the Soy Arquitecta 2021/2022 National Award in the developer category and “Outstanding” in the designer category. She has been invited to the Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial. 2022 and has participated as a speaker both in academic settings (UNR, UAI Rosario, UNL and UNC) as well as in architectural talk series organized by professional associations and local organizations.
