Sven Aretz Architect BDA (Willich, 1988) Studied architecture at RWTH Aachen. 2016 M.Sc. Architecture with distinction from RWTH Aachen. Worked in architectural offices, carpentry and metal construction in Stuttgart, Krefeld and Cologne. 2016-2023 research assistant at the Chair of Building Construction at RWTH Aachen and freelance work as an architect. 2019 Founding of the architectural office Aretz Dürr Architektur in Cologne. 2020 Appointed to the Association of German Architects, BDA. Lecturer at the Chair of Building Construction at RWTH Aachen since 2023.
Jakob Dürr Architect BDA (Bonn, 1980) Studied architecture at RWTH Aachen and ENSAPVS Paris. 2008 Diploma from RWTH Aachen. He has worked in architectural offices in Stuttgart, Paris and Cologne. 2011 Founding of the architectural office Jakob Dürr Architekten. 2016-18 research assistant at the Chair of Building Construction at RWTH Aachen. Since 2018 he has been a lecturer at the Chair of Building Construction at RWTH Aachen. 2019 founded the architectural firm Aretz Dürr Architektur in Cologne. 2020 appointed to the Association of German Architects, BDA.
