The UAD Architectural Creation Research Center (ACRC) is an exploration of a return to the original thinking of architecture. They try to start from the traditional, classical, large-scale architectural design vision; from fast, tactical, and conceptual working habits, they gradually move on to new methods and new ideas.
They think about how to enlarge the project to form a system; how to analyze it from a macro perspective, and then obtain valuable research, to seek independent thinking, observation attitude, interest in work, and even the professional height of project design. They seek the teamwork spirit of openness, enthusiasm, and perseverance. They break away from the production methods they have been struggling with in the past, not only limiting themselves to modern and trendy technical topics, such as BIM and digitalization; but going back to the manual and poetic.
At the same time, the center is also responsible for the accumulation and research of some professional technologies of UAD; it is also responsible for academic research and exchanges of the architectural profession.
They believe that upholding the thinking about the origin of architecture is the original intention that all architects should adhere to.
