Andrés Maragaño Leveque. (Chile, 1971). Architect, Master in Urban Planning. Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Barcelona, Spain. Since 2000 he has been Professor in Architecture School of University of Talca, where he was Director, between the years 2010-2012. He has been professor of Projects and guiding professor of degree projects. In 2010 he published the book: Museum of the City, referred to the urban transformations of the city of Talca.
He develops research on the territory of the Central Valley of Chile: Super-rural, Specialized Territories, studies on Material Culture and Public Architecture. Of these investigations some articles have been published in specialized magazines: Highly specialized regions, Central Valley of Chile; EURE (2010); Some bodies in the landscape, Material culture in the Central Valley of Chile, Magazine 180 (2013); Architecture and power, Architecture as a public imagination in the cities of the Central Valley of Chile during the twentieth century. Magazine 180 (2015), World Architecture Magazine China (2016). He has lectured at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Córdoba and at the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of the Coast of Santa Fe (Argentina), Escola da Cidade (Brazil) and Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montevideo (Uruguay), as well as in the Biennial of Architecture of Quito, (Ecuador).
