OMA is a leading international office practicing architecture, urban planning, and cultural analysis. OMA is dedicated to the realization of buildings and master plans around the world that insist on intelligent forms, while inventing new possibilities for content and everyday use. OMA has projects in over 30 countries with offices in Rotterdam, New York, Beijing, Hong Kong and Doha. The counterpart to OMA is AMO, a research and design studio working in media, politics, renewable energy, technology, publishing, fashion, micro-design and cultural advisory.

AMO, the think tank and research studio based in OMA’s Rotterdam office, works in areas beyond architecture, including media, politics, sociology, renewable energy, technology, fashion, curating, publishing, and graphic design. AMO requires additional researchers to work on a range of projects in these fields. Researchers must have exceptional analytical and communicational skills, and the ability to find and mobilize intelligence from multiple disciplines. 

AMO now has an immediate need for two ambitious and flexible Research Interns who consider themselves innovative thinkers and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves. The interns will work at the intersection of research, communication and architecture. The first intern will focus on AMO projects related to France and therefore the ability to speak French is a necessity. The second intern will join an AMO project related to other parts of the world.

Requirements:
- Currently studying for a Master degree or PhD or in a relevant field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in English (French is an asset)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Skilled in MS Office
