The Abelard Lafuente´s story is linked, among others, to the figure of one of the most important Spanish entrepreneurs in Asia in early twentieth century: Antonio Ramos, magnate from Granada who introduced the cinema in China. He was the only spanish architect established in the heyday of colonial Shanghai, between 1913 and 1931, where he introduced the architectural style "spanish moorish" and built a wide variety of magnificent architecture. Lafuente died in Shanghai in December of 1931, after a life full of anecdotes, projects and trips around the world, details of wich have been discovered in the last three years in Shanghai and Madrid by Alvaro Leonardo, after a thorough investigation is still open and evolution.
