It consists of a series of introductory work sessions to assessment tools for sustainability in buildings, in the activity of training and dissemination of sustainability criteria in architecture. It seeks to discover and analyze together, session by session, the main and most known systems that exist right now to deal with parameters, data and indicators of sustainability in buildings to meet environmental, social and economic commitments of architecture.
This first approach to these tools will facilitate an approach to form an opinion about them, their incorporation into new construction projects or rehabilitation, and will give attendees enough patterns to choose their application, selection, or do a more comprehensive study or specific courses about them.
All sessions are presented as a debate between the tool VERDE, one of the list of the main tools in the Spanish market and attendees. In an analytical and comparative way we will be able to form an overall opinion about the content of these new methods. In the symposium, moderated by ASA, similarities and differences between them will be discussed.
In this session we will discuss about VERDE and LEED and we will have the presence of Leo Fernández and Silvia Andrés representing them.
It is advisable to go (not required, but recommended) with a laptop with WIFI connection.
