The film series, curated by the film researcher Bruce Posner for the Reina Sofía National Museum makes a selection of 37 recently restored films, including shoots of Paul Strand, Fernand Léger, Maya Deren and Jonas Mekas, among others. This cultural project will take place until December 18.
This activity aims to explore the many avant-garde trends that occurred since the early past century in the American culture and its development over time. As the series develops, it will show the transformation undergone in the experimental cinema due to the ideals of the new generations and the advancement of technology.
