SEIXAS LOPES

Diogo Seixas Lopez graduated in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 1996 and obtained his doctorate at the ETH Zurich. In the Autonomous University of Lisbon, Department of Architecture, was an assistant professor from 2000 to 2005 and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra was an assistant at the Department of Architecture since 2011. Professor also was a visiting professor at the University of Carleton (Ottawa) and the Center for Architecture and the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Diogo Lopes was deputy managing editor and consultant Jornal Arquitectos Belém Cultural Centre, dedicated exclusively to architecture. He was appointed commissioner, along with fellow architect André Tavares, the 4th edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (TAL), which will take place in 2016 in the capital. In 2006, together with the architect Patrícia Barbas, he founded the architects Barbas Lopes. He died on February 18, 2016.
