Moral García
Álvaro Moral García (Burgos, Spain, 1989) is a Technical Architect from the Higher Polytechnic School of Burgos (2012) and an Architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Valladolid (2016). He received a grant from the MECD in research tasks.
Several of his projects and works from his training stage have been exhibited and published, highlighting his final degree project, selected in various exhibitions, and obtaining an Outstanding qualification. Master of Research in Architecture MIA (2017) with outstanding and a thesis entitled Temporary Folds- Discontinuities in memory.
Álvaro Moral García is currently doing his doctorate under the title BURGOS FORMA URBIS: Cartographic Overlays around the Burgos Cathedral, receiving a grant in pre-doctoral research at the ETSA in Valladolid where he has been a professor since 2018.
His research work focuses on the project process and its graphic analysis and interventions on what has been built, author of articles in books and magazines, conferences, and communications at national and international congresses.
Álvaro Moral García develops his professional work in his studio since 2016. He has participated in national and international competitions receiving various awards and recognitions. His projects have been exhibited, published, and awarded on various occasions including the recent COACYLE Awards (2020).
