gil + braga arkitectos, was founded in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, in 2003, by Cláudio Gil from Póvoa de Varzim, and Anabela Braga from Vila Nova de Gaia.
During these years the office has undergone several mutations designing and building, public and private works. Different programs, types and scales, ephemeral works, object design, the whole design is treated in the same way, with formal, functional and constructive coherence.
The act of designing is always a team effort, a constant learning and opportunity to explore and develop acquired experience, to give a pragmatic answer to specific contexts, always starting from the "economy" of means "with the wealth" in the materialization of the project and the emotional involvement of future users. Function, design, form, simplicity, aesthetics, economy, structure, matter, sustainability, (...) everything is Architecture.
