Francisco Cadau Oficina de Arquitectura
Francisco Cadau an architect by the University of Buenos Aires, 1995. He has obtained, as a member of various groups, first prizes in national and provincial competitions for public spaces and buildings such as the Parque Ribereño de Vicente López, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Campana, the Judicial City of the Province of Salta and the Annex Buildings of the Cathedral of Gualeguaychú.
Since 2000, he has been the director of Francisco Cadau Oficina de Arquitectura, where he has developed an extensive and recognized practice that has allowed him to position himself in an outstanding position in the architectural field.
His work has received awards and participated in biennials and exhibitions in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Austria, the United States, Holland, and Italy. His works have received, among other distinctions, the Awards of the Colegio de Arquitectos de Buenos Aires "25th Anniversary" 2011 and best-built work 2017, the Brick Award Outstanding International Brick Architecture 2020, the selection of works for the VII Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Medellin 2010, for the 15th, 16th and 17th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016, 2018 and 2020-21 and the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize 2022. His works, too, have been published in a wide variety of books and magazines.
Francisco Cadau is an Adjunct Professor by competition at the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires. He has been Visiting Professor at the Architectural Association School of Architecture; Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design, and Conservation; Cornell University College of Architecture; Pontificia Universidade Católica, and Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.
